Demonsters are a name we give
to our alter ego/s. Most of us have
several demonsters and they are a
part of what makes us who we are.
However, sometimes these do not
serve us and it can be very helpful
to recognise them as just being a
part of ourself, perhaps a part that
we created unconsciously to help
us survive, when we needed to. We
are not here to judge, only to embrace
all aspects of our being. Myself, I
found upon recognition of my own
demonsters, claiming those aspects
of my personality and giving them
names, not only fun but a very
powerful way to diffuse any patterns
coming from the unconscious energy
that drives them...These two are a
couple of examples of demonsters,
they can be fun...when we "own" them...

POLLY
Polly was a people pruner
honest and to the point
Her invisible chainsaw
could cut through any joint
She did not tolerate
People full of shit
She'd speak her mind
And then she'd find
Some people'd want to hit
Her words into submission
But she wasn't having that
she'd stand her ground
refuse TO back down
and prune them where they sat!
Her views not always welcome
she'd give them anyway
she had the best intentions
BUT ANGRY...some would say
She really had a heart of gold
She was JUST misunderstood
coming OFTEN out of nowhere
like borer out of wood
No matter what the outcome
Polly decided she must be true
And though others do judge her
She will ALWAYS give her view!

CHARMING CHARLIE
Charlie was a charming man
Handsome and debonair
Ladies drawn like magnets
Would follow him anywhere
His charm it was alluring
He had the gift of the gab
His eyes they shone like diamonds
Nothing bout this man was drab
His smile could melt an icecap
His touch could light a fire
Electrifying presence
Of Charlie no girl could tire
His skin was soft as snow
Yet muscular and tanned
He emanated a glow
What happened wasn't planned
He was an expert in seduction
With all his wicked charm
Charlie was very often seen
With a beauty on his arm
The problem was with Charlie
He was all talk and charm you see
Underneath the smooth facade
Emptiness was his reality
His persona was to conquer
As many ladies as he could
He had no real intention
Of ever honouring his word
Charlie was not to blame
Cos he was terrified you see
And as much as he loved women
He silently ached to be free
From committment and closeness
First sign of it he'd run
He was really very lonely
But there was always another one.
Waiting to feel special
To this very sexy man
Intimacy not his strong point
Charlie stop it...if you can!
